- Patrick is at it again. In May, here directed a production of Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead with the Beta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Psi Omega at Bethany College. This production was responded to by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and numerous awards including 4 awards for acting out of a cast of 8, awards for sound design and costume design, and an overall Certificate of Honor for "Boldness In Choice Of Production." Patrick was recognized with an Certificate of Honor for "Boldness In Direction."
- Our Founding Director, Patrick, was recently recognized by The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for his work on Henrik Ibsen's When We Dead Awaken in the KCACTF Directing Institute. He was also recently appointed Chair of the newly founded Westerville Area Ministry Through Theatre Committee. On top of all of that, Patrick was recently elected President of Alpha Psi Omega (The Theatre Honorary Society) Beta Gamma Chapter at Bethany College after serving a term as Vice-President. Congratulations to Patrick!
- Brenden, the President of Shots in the Dark, was recently recognized on the Dean's List at Carnegie Mellon in the Engineering Program. He is also teaching a class to fellow students on Introductory Programming.
- Our Vice-President, Rachel,was recently initiated into the Beta Mu Chapter of the Kappa Delta Sorority at Bowling Green State University. Her 4.0 G.P.A. her first semester on campus may have had something to do with it. Congratulations to Rachel!
- Our Musical Director, Jeff, just returned from a 9-day tour of the mid-Atlantic states with the Wheaton College Concert Choir. They will be recording their repertoire in the coming month--everything from Bach and Brahms motets to Moses Hogan Spirituals. Congratulations to Jeff!
- Katie, one of our musicians, participated in breaking the Guinness World Record for the most people to simultaneously do the robot dance for 5 straight minutes. Oh...yeah...and she has been accepted to student teach abroad in Hong-Kong for a semester! Congratulations to Katie!
